Real functions
If the definition and value range of a function are sets of real numbers, it is a real function.
Real functions are divided into rational and non-rational functions, depending on whether only rational or further arithmetic operations occur. Furthermore, rational functions distinguish between polynomial and proper and improper rational functions.
